I was fortunate to be one of Jeremy's earliest fellows-at that time, clinical EP was largely descriptive and phenomenologic -truly an exciting time to be at MGH; I cannot thank Jeremy enough for his mentorship, his guidance, his friendship. He truly launched my career- I cannot forget the pain-staking attention to detail he provided in going over my first abstract presentation for AHA, nor the excitement I felt in seeing my first article with him in print. Jeremy, I cannot thank you enough.
With sincere gratitude for the superb training you provided for me and for your many important contributions to clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Jeremy instilled in me a holistic approach to patient management. He always insisted on knowing as much as possible about the "substrate" before making an informed decision about heart rhythm management. He impressed on me the fact that we are constantly learning and that respect from colleagues is gained by knowledge of one's subject rather than conferred by any title. To me he will always be "Jeremy" and will always have both my respect and gratitude for all he's taught me.
I had the privilege of being Dr Ruskin's fellow and would like to thank him for all his teaching. He continues to inspire me and serves as a role model for me and all my colleagues who were trained by him!
Jeremy, The time I spent at MGH remains the most vivid experience from from training. I learned more about EP and how to be a doctor in the short time I was with you and Brian and Hasan and Ross than I did in the rest of my training. It is a privilege to honor you at this point in your career and I wish you the best during the rest of it.
It is hard to say more to honor Jeremy Ruskin than to read the list of electrophysiologists he has trained, and pause to imagine the good that has been brought into this world by his dedication, perseverance, and inspiring intellectual force.
Jeremy, there is no individual more deserving of recognition for their contribution to the field of Electrophysiology and the training of young physicians seeking to advance their knowledge of EP. I thank you for the opportunity learn with you at MGH, gaining knowledge that has stayed with me through my career.
Thank you for your expert guidance!
