It is a great honor and privilege to be able to pay tribute to one of the greatest teachers and most outstanding role models in my training. During fellowship, I spent many long days and hours in the EP lab analyzing, learning and studying mechanisms of arrhythmias which was very difficult at first; however, I was lucky to be guided by one of the true masters in the art of EP. His guidance, mentorship and teaching style taught me to become an independent, self-confident and successful electrophysiologist. His words of wisdom and guidance are constantly with me and echo in my ears, especially in difficult, challenging cases, allowing me to overcome them with great success. There are truly no words that I can say to express my gratitude for Dr. Miller, no way to pay him back. His is a great teacher, professor, mentor and dear friend; in fact, he is also my godfather as well. I am honored to say that I have been trained by one of the few, true EP masters.
John is the ultimate professional and teacher. His dedication to his craft and especially to education is unquestionable. His countless hours of service each week to his patients and his tireless efforts towards education inspire all of his fellows and mentees to be better every day. Thank you
