The Director of Marketing is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, development and implementation of all aspects of marketing in support of the Society’s programs, products and services.
Essential Responsibilities:
Working with the VP of Marketing, Communications and Membership and the Marketing Manager, develops and ensures effective execution of organizational marketing plans and strategies for all programs, products and services including:
Coding Guide for Heart Rhythm Procedures and Services
HeartRhythm Journal
Patient Education Materials
Manages creative concept development working with agencies and internal stakeholders
Develops and ensures effective market research utilization
Designs and writes specific marketing deliverables in-house, including print copy, e-mail promotions, external presentations and website content
Manages overall brand integration and corporate identity
Builds marketing and promotional message platforms for Society programs, products and services

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing
Seven or more years of Marketing experience
Demonstrated depth of experience in Market Research Development and application
Two or more years of experience with direct management of staff
Depth of experience with e-marketing and web
Association experience and understanding of healthcare industry a plus
Skills:
Proficient with MS Office
Excellent written and verbal skills
Budget management experience
Capabilities:
Some travel required
Conditions:
Ability to spend significant periods of time at a computer station
