The Heart Rhythm Society’s Annual Corporate Recognition Breakfast, which takes place each year during the Society’s Annual Scientific Sessions, provides the Society with an opportunity to thank its annual supporters for their generous contributions to the Society’s mission and the cardiac arrhythmia profession.
By invitation only, participants have the opportunity to network with peers, business partners and respected thought leaders in the cardiac arrhythmia community.

This year at the Breakfast, held on Friday, May 14, 2010, Michael J. Barber, MD, Ph.D., FHRS of Colorado Springs Cardiologists introduced a patient whose life was saved through cardiac arrhythmia therapy. Thomas Jenkins served as a guest speaker for the breakfast and was grateful to be able to share his story with the individuals committed to saving lives each day through their work in the heart rhythm disorder field. Dr. Barber was the first to accurately diagnose him with AF a few years ago and Mr. Jenkins drove several hours to be present at the event, eloquently expressing his appreciation for the new lease on life he received following treatment.
During the Breakfast, the Society’s year-round supporters were acknowledged for their generosity and continued dedication to furthering the mission of the Heart Rhythm Society and the cardiac arrhythmia community. sanofi -aventis, Medtronic and St. Jude Medical were recognized as the Platinum members of the 2009 Infinity Circle.
