Activity Description:

An update of topics for electrophysiology, heart rhythm management and implantable device management. The program will include separate sessions on atrial fibrillation and heart failure management with an emphasis on the use of CRT as well as a focus on therapies for bradycardia (pacemakers) and tachycardia (ICD).

Learning Objectives:

To provide attendees with an overview and state of the art management in the fields of atrial fibrillation, cardiac resynchronization therapy as well as low-voltage (pacemakers) and high-voltage (ICD and CRT-D) implantable devices. The program will be enhanced with live transmission of cases.

Target Audience:

This will be a hybrid audience. There are some sessions that are targeted at a more intermediate level that would be appropriate for allied professionals and general cardiologists that have some connection with device management and electrophysiology. Other sessions are directed primarily at EPs, for example portions of the atrial fibrillation section.
