Timeline 

November 15, 2017 - All participating programs have registered in ERAS.  To register, call the ERAS Help Desk at 202-828-0413, and they will walk you through the 10 minute process.

Season officially begins

December 1, 2017 -  Programs can begin viewing applications

2018   January Review/evaluate applications; conduct interviews
  May May 31, 2018 - Deadline for Fellow ERAS application submission

Late August - NRMP Medical Specialties Matching Programs opens for July 2019 appointments*

  • Programs register for the NRMP Match

ERAS provides a centralized, but flexible solution to the residency application and documents distribution process.

ERAS Community Site will be your go-to place to connect with other members, ask advice, and share expertise about all things about the Program Director’s Workstation (PDWS). To access this site, users must have an AAMC account and granted access to an ERAS program. The program’s Designated Institutional Official (DIOs) is responsible for granting access to the program users.

The NRMP is an independent organization that works with medical schools and other teaching organizations by providing the matching component for the overall fellowship selection process.
