EP and Device Therapy for Allied Professionals: Applying Knowledge to Clinical Practice was held at Lankenau Hospital. This one-day advanced level program presented by the Heart Rhythm Society offered a total of 5.0 CME/CE hours available to attendees and was approved for credit by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ARST). Advanced practice allied professionals from Philadelphia and the surrounding Pennsylvania regions met to discuss current practices and trends within the heart rhythm community.

Through didactic sessions, panel discussions and hands-on opportunities clinicians working in device clinics and electrophysiology labs gained a comprehensive understanding of how to best manage arrhythmia patients.

Learning Objectives

  • Review device interrogation and interpretation with challenging cases
  • Recognize concepts related to mapping and ablation technologies in the EP lab setting
  • Describe periprocedural patient management for EP, ablation and device therapies
  • Describe career development pathways related to EP and device patient care
  • Recognize the best out-patient follow-up and diagnostic methods
