Each year the Heart Rhythm Society awards full-year Research Fellowships to individuals interested in clinical and basic research relating to the latest advances in electrophysiology.

Society research fellowships include an annual stipend and registration to the Annual Scientific Sessions; applications for the 2010-2011 award year were due January 22, 2010.

Heart Rhythm Society Research Fellowships

Applications for the six 2010-2011 Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology, available for one or two years and awarding annual stipend of $50,000 as well as complementary registration to the Heart Rhythm Annual Scientific Sessions were accepted until January 22, 2010.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must have an MD, Ph.D., DO, DVM or equivalent degree as of June 2010
  • May not be enrolled in a graduate or medical school as of June 2010
  • May not have completed three cumulative years of postmedical school or graduate school research
