Program Description

Case studies have served as an excellent tool for testing and evaluating diagnostic and clinical management skills. This activity will provide clinicians with a chance to review clinical case-based scenarios and test their knowledge and aptitude on guidelines pertaining to syncope through interactive case-based and post-test questions.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this program the learner will be able to:

  • Describe the etiologies for ICD-oversensing and recognize potential lead problems by review of information obtained from ICD interrogation.

Accreditation

The Heart Rhythm Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The Heart Rhythm Society designates this educational activity eligible for 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The AMA has determined that physicians not licensed in the USA who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
