Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Distinguish the differences between focal atrial tachycardia (FAT) from the pulmonary veins and PV triggers of atrial fibrillation.
- Explain the characteristic P-wave morphologies of FATs originating from each of the pulmonary veins and the adjacent structures.
- Recall the ablation strategy for FATs originating from the pulmonary veins (focal ablation vs. PVI)
