Speaker's Bureau/Professional Venues Working Group

The WLI Speakers Bureau is a database that is broadly defined to encompass women who are interested in speaking opportunities in areas of their expertise, as well as those who are seeking other types of professional venues such as grading abstracts or reviewing manuscripts. The goals of the WLI Speakers Bureau are to:

  • Increase the visibility and professional stature of women EPs.
  • Enhance access to professional venues within and outside the EP community.
  • Promote awareness and use of Speakers Bureau within HRS and selected external organizations, via mailings, electronic contacts and personal follow-up.
  • Monitor the bureau’s effectiveness by tracking the number of women who serve as faculty and in committee and other leadership positions within HRS and related organizations.
