The 2009 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) program will give a 2 percent bonus payment (of their total allowed charges for Physician Fee Schedule) to eligible professionals who meet the criteria for satisfactory submission of quality measures data for the services rendered from January 1, 2009 until December 31, 2009.
The Heart Rhythm Society members MUST use the below 2009 worksheets (instead of 2008 worksheets) for claim-based reporting.
Electrophysiologists are eligible to continue to report on the following measures:
- Measure #5: Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor or angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) therapy for left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVSD). Download the 2009 Worksheet (PDF, 64K)

- E-Prescribing Incentive Program: Beginning January 1, 2009, the E-prescribing quality measure (Measure # 125) has been removed from the PQRI program, and it has become the quality measure used in the E-prescribing Incentive Program, which is a claim-based program.
