Register Now for January’s SAFARI Meeting
The Heart Rhythm Society is collaborating with other organizations in the development of the Safety of Atrial Fibrillation Ablation Registry Initiative (SAFARI) meeting on January 13, 2010 at the Seaport Hotel, Boston, MA. Download draft agenda (PDF, 128K).
This meeting will serve as a follow-up to the successful think tank meeting held April 27-28 , and will convene faculty experts from academia, private practice, industry, government, hospitals, and third-party payers to discuss key topics regarding the design of a multi-stakeholder registry for atrial fibrillation ablation.

Topics of the SAFARI meeting will include:
- The state of registry development since the AF Think Tank
- Identification of a clear pathway for implementation of the registry effort
- Exploration of solutions to potential issues in the execution of that plan.
Key points to be discussed are the mission of SAFARI, scientific questions to be addressed by the registry, the regulatory framework and role of the registry, funding issues, and collection of follow-up data.
