Case-Based Tutorials (CBT)
Teaching groups encouraging audience discussion with faculty selected cases and cases chosen from the Case-Based Tutorials Submitter with select sessions utilizing the Audience Response System (ARS).

Core Curricula (CC)
Didactic teaching sessions in all major categories that provide comprehensive, timely information relevant to the care of patients or to research.

Debates (DB)
Spirited debate sessions on controversial issues.

Experts Unplugged (EU)
Small (approximately 40 attendees), intimate lunch talks without the use of audiovisual, covering various areas of expertise. Additional fee required — see our Ticketed Functions page.

Featured Symposia (SY)
Cross discipline showcase sessions with subject matter experts.

Meet the Experts Luncheon Panels (ME)
Small discussion sessions that provide a scholarly exchange of information between experts and interested clinicians. Additional fee required — see our Ticketed Functions page.

Mini-Courses (MC)
Didactic courses providing in-depth updates on hot, new topics with a question and answer period to follow. Additional fee required — see our Ticketed Functions page.

Translational Electrophysiology Sessions (TE)
The session format features a translator interpreting information for physicians and scientists.

Oral/Poster Abstracts (AB/PO)
Presentations in oral and poster format that provide the most up-to-date scientific research.

Case-Based Abstract Presentations (AB)
Abstract presentations featuring unique physiology, challenging diagnoses, new strategies for patient management, unusual complications or adverse effects, challenging interpretations of ICD/pacemaker function, or innovative technologies that facilitate procedures or patient management.

Special Sessions (SS)
includes events such as Health Policy Town Hall Meetings; Opening Plenary with Keynote Speaker, Elizabeth Nabel, MD; Late-Breaking Clinical Trials and more.
