titlelines Leaders in Quality Sessions

Leaders in Quality is the focus of this year’s Annual Scientific Sessions, addressing the current challenges facing the field and the impact on quality and outcomes.

At Heart Rhythm 2010, twenty-three sessions are designated as Leaders in Quality sessions and will feature a Quality Commentator to emphasize and connect the relevance of the concept of health care quality and outcomes to the session topic. Scientific Sessions Program Chair Bruce L. Wilkoff, MD, FHRS, CCDS, says “This will be a new experience for attendees, and I look forward to the discussion that will come from these sessions. I’ve asked the commentators to think about their topic creatively and provoke the audience to think of ways we can lead the movement to develop new quality measures.”
