Where will Heart Rhythm 2010 will held?
Most official sessions and events will be held at the Colorado Convention Center (CCC) which is located at 700 14th Street Denver, Colorado. Some sessions may be held at the headquarters hotel, the Hyatt Regency Denver at the CCC.
What is the official language of Heart Rhythm 2010?
The official language of the Society's Annual Scientific Sessions is English. (Simultaneous translation is not available.)
How much is the registration fee for Heart Rhythm 2010?
The registration fee varies on factors such as whether or not an attendee is a Heart Rhythm Society member, what type, etc.
What is included in the Heart Rhythm 2010 registration fee?
The full Scientific Sessions fees include admission to the ticketed Mini Courses (ticket required), Allied Professionals Forum I (for Allied Professional Attendees only), Orientation for New Allied Professional Attendees, Hands-On Session, Town Hall, Opening Plenary Session, Case-Based Tutorials, Oral Abstract and Poster Presentations, Featured Symposium, Debates, Core Curricula, Translational EP Sessions, Technical Exhibits, Featured Posters Reception and the Awards Ceremony and Presidents’ Reception.
The one-day registration fee includes admission to the non-ticketed sessions and Technical Exhibits held on the day of registration only. The Wednesday fee does not include the Technical Exhibits but includes the ticketed mini-courses. Ticketed functions with fees are extra for all registrants.
What ticketed functions require additional fees?
Additional fees are required for the following: The VT/VF Heart Failure Summit on Wednesday; the Allied Professionals Forum II: Advanced and the Basic/Translational Science Forum on Wednesday. The Meet-the-Experts Luncheons (ME) on Thursday and Friday; Experts Unplugged Luncheons (EU) on Thursday and Friday; the ABIM Recertification Course on Saturday.
You may register for and attend the VT/VF Heart Failure Summit on Wednesday or the ABIM Recertification Course on Saturday without registering for Heart Rhythm 2010; however, it is recommended that you register for the both the VT/VF Heart Failure Summit and Heart Rhythm 2010 to benefit from the full scientific education experience.

How do I register?
Registration prior to January 11, 2010 is by invitation only. You may register online, by fax, by mail or by phone (restrictions apply). If you are a member of the media, register via the upcoming Heart Rhythm 2010 Online Media Center or contact Kennesha Baldwin, Manager, Media and Public Relations at kbaldwin@HRSonline.org.
I am a Fellows-in-Training Non-member. Is any additional Documentation required?
Non-member Fellows-in-Training, Physicians-in-Training, Scientists-in-Training, Interns, and Residents must submit a letter from their department head (stating status of their fellowship with dates of service) along with their registration. This documentation must be received within two weeks of registering for Heart Rhythm 2010, or the registration fee will change to the Nonmember Physician rate. In addition to your name, the documentation should also include your Heart Rhythm Society Customer ID Number.

I am an Undergraduate Student and have not finished college, but I am interested in pursing a medical career. Is any additional Documentation required?
Non-degreed Undergraduate Students may register in advance of Heart Rhythm 2010; however, their badges will not be mailed. Undergraduate Students must present their student identification current through May 31, 2010, at the on-site registration counter in Lobby A of the convention center.
How can I pay for my registration?
The Heart Rhythm Society accepts the following forms of payment: American Express, VISA, MasterCard and checks drawn by a United States bank, in United States dollars. The registrant must pay all fees or charges connected with registration at the time of registration. Credit cards will be charged immediately. Checks must be made payable to Heart Rhythm Society. Please note the following:
- Registration Forms will not be processed without full payment to the Heart Rhythm Society.
- Hotel reservations will not be processed without credit card deposits.
- Purchase orders are not accepted.
- Wire/bank transfers are not accepted.
- CDS and the Heart Rhythm Society cannot acknowledge receipt of a faxed Registration Form. Please retain your transmittal report until you have received your registration confirmation from CDS and your hotel/housing confirmation from Travel Planners, Inc.
What is my Heart Rhythm Society Customer ID Number? Where do I find it?
The Heart Rhythm Society Customer ID Number is a unique, six-digit number assigned to your customer record. If a Heart Rhythm Society member or a previous Scientific Sessions attendee, this number was provided with your registration notice. If you do not have your Customer ID Number, contact the Heart Rhythm Society at Membership@HRSonline.org. Please review the Membership Registration Requirements before registering.
Not sure if you have a customer record because you are not a Heart Rhythm Society member?
Even if you are not a society member, you may still have a customer record number. Contact Membership@HRSonline.org to check. Please review the Member Registration Requirements before registering.
All non-members must register at the non-member rate. Anyone applying for membership with the Heart Rhythm Society during the Heart Rhythm 2010 registration period must have their completed application packet (application, CV and dues) approved by the Society prior to registering for Heart Rhythm 2010. The Society will not reimburse the difference between the member and nonmember rates to Heart Rhythm 2010 attendees whose completed applications are approved after they register for Heart Rhythm 2010.
How do I correct outdated contact information in my customer record?
Enter your current contact information when you register online and this contact information will be captured in the Society's database after the meeting.
How and when will I receive my registration confirmation?
Confirmations are provided via e-mail within 72 hours of receipt of your registration including full payment and any documentation needed. If you do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, please contact Convention Data Services (CDS) at 1-800-748-5052 or +1-508-743-0529 or HRS@xpressreg.net.
When will I receive my badge and tickets?
Attendees that live in the U.S. and register prior to Friday, April 23, 2010 will receive their registration materials two weeks prior to the annual meeting. Attendees that live in outside of the U.S. and register prior to Friday, April 16, 2010 will receive their registration materials prior to the annual meeting.
If you registered prior to the registration dates listed above and did not receive your registration materials, please visit the On-site Registration counter in Lobby A at the Colorado Convention Center.
What happens if I register for the meeting and then find out I am an Abstract Presenter? Do I get a refund?
Yes. The registration fee is $265 for Abstract Presenters that have confirmed their participation in Heart Rhythm 2010. The Heart Rhythm Society only recognizes the Submitting Author as the Presenting Author. There can only be one Presenting author per abstract and co-authors will not receive the discounted registration fee.
If you already pre-registered for the meeting and later confirmed your participation as an Abstract Presenter, you will be refunded the amount of the registration fee less the $265. Fees for ticketed functions are not waived. Additional fees for ticketed functions will apply.
