What is included in the Heart Rhythm 2012 registration fee?
The full Scientific Sessions fees include admission to the ticketed Mini Courses, Allied Professionals Forums (for Allied Professional Attendees only), Basic/Translational Science Forum, Orientation for New Allied Professional Attendees, Hands-On Session, Opening Plenary, Case-Based Tutorials, Oral Abstract and Poster Presentations, Featured Symposium, Debates, Core Curricula, Translational EP Sessions, Technical Exhibits, Featured Posters Reception and the Awards Ceremony and Presidents' Reception.
The one-day registration fee includes admission to the non-ticketed sessions and Technical Exhibits held on the day of registration only. The Wednesday fee includes the Technical Exhibits and ticketed mini-courses. Ticketed functions with fees are extra for all registrants.
Which events require additional fees?
Additional fees are required for the following: The AF Summit on Wednesday; the Meet-the-Experts Luncheons (ME) on Thursday and Friday; Experts Unplugged Luncheons (EU) on Thursday and Friday; and the Women's Leadership Initiative Luncheon on Friday.
You may register for and attend the AF Summit on Wednesday without registering for Heart Rhythm 2012; however, it is recommended that you register for the both the AF Summit and Heart Rhythm 2012 to benefit from the full scientific education experience.

When will the mini-courses be held?
The mini-courses will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012. There are two time blocks: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Do I need to pre-select the mini-courses I'd like to attend?
We ask that you select the mini courses you'd like to attend. However, you will not receive a ticket. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis.
When is the Featured Posters Session?
It will be held Wednesday, May 9, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. and it is included in full meeting, Wednesday-only, AF Summit and guest registrations.
When is President's Reception?
It will be held Friday, May 11, 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. and is included in full meeting, Friday-only and guest registrations.
When is the Opening Plenary?

When will the Allied Health Professionals Networking Sessions be held?
The networking sessions will be held Thursday, May 10, 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. and Friday, May 11, 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. (Please note that there are no additional fees for the Allied Health Professionals Networking Sessions; however, seating will be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.)

What is included in the Heart Rhythm 2012 registration fee?
The full Scientific Sessions registration fees include admission to the Mini-Courses, Allied Forums I & II, the Basic Translational Science Forum, Hands-on Session, Town Hall, Opening Plenary Session, Clinical Tutorials, Case-Based Tutorials, Oral/Poster Abstract Presentations, Featured Symposium, Debates, Core Curricula, Translational EP Sessions, Technical Exhibits, Featured Poster Session and Reception and the President's Reception.
The one-day registration fee includes admission to the Clinical Tutorials, Case-Based Tutorials, Oral/Poster Abstract Presentations, Featured Symposium, Debates, Core Curricula, Translational EP Sessions and Technical Exhibits held on the day of registration only. The Wednesday fee does not include the AF Summit.
Guests may attend Technical Exhibits, Featured Posters Reception and the President's Reception ONLY. Guests may not attend Mini-Courses, Allied Health Professionals Networking Sessions, Meet-the-Experts Luncheons, Experts Unplugged Luncheons or any other scientific session.
What is my Heart Rhythm Society Customer ID Number? Where do I find it?
The Heart Rhythm Society Customer ID Number is a unique, six-digit number assigned to your customer record. If a Heart Rhythm Society member or a previous Scientific Sessions attendee, this number was provided with your registration notice. If you do not have your Customer ID Number, contact the Heart Rhythm Society at Membership@HRSonline.org.
What if I am not a Society member?
Non-members who do not wish to apply for membership may obtain their Customer ID number by calling +1 (800) 748-5052 or e-mailing HRS@xpressreg.net. If you have not participated in a Heart Rhythm Society activity before, please register using your last name and e-mail and a Customer ID will be automatically assigned to you. All non-members must register at the non-member rate.
Anyone applying for membership with the Heart Rhythm Society during the Heart Rhythm 2012 registration period must have their completed application packet (application, CV and dues) approved by the Society prior to registering for Heart Rhythm 2012 (learn more). The Society will not reimburse the difference between the member and nonmember rates to Heart Rhythm 2012 attendees whose completed applications are approved after they register for Heart Rhythm 2012. Completed membership applications for new members must be submitted to the Society by April 27, 2012.
How do I correct outdated contact information in my customer record?

How and when will I receive my registration confirmation?
Confirmations are provided via e-mail within 72 hours of receipt of your registration including full payment and any documentation needed. If you do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, please contact Convention Data Services (CDS) at +1 (800) 748-5052 or +1 (508) 743-0529 or HRS@xpressreg.net.
.When will I receive my badge and tickets?
If you live in the U.S. and register by April 16, 2012, registration materials will be mailed two (2) weeks prior to the meeting. If you live outside the U.S. and register by April 16, 2012, registration materials will be mailed prior to the meeting. Simply bring your badge to Badgeholder Pick Up located in the Heart Rhythm 2012 registration area in the North Lobby of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. On-site registration opens at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
What are the requirements for member registration?
Anyone applying for membership with the Heart Rhythm Society during the Heart Rhythm 2012 registration period must have their completed application packet (application, CV and dues) approved by the Society prior to registering for Heart Rhythm 2012 (learn more). What happens if I register for the meeting and then find out I am an Abstract Presenter? Do I get a refund?
Yes, your Scientific Sessions registration fee, less the $325 Abstract Presenter fee, will be refunded automatically by CDS. This applies only to the first/primary author. There are additional fees for ticketed sessions such as, Experts Unplugged and Meet-the-Experts Luncheons.
What is the payment policy for scientific sessions faculty and chairs?
The registration fee is waived for invited Faculty and Chairs; however, registration is required. Please be sure to register as invited Faculty/Chair. Fees for ticketed functions are not waived. Exception: Faculty/Chairs for the ticketed function at which they are presenting.
What is the payment policy?
The Heart Rhythm Society accepts the following credit cards: American Express, VISA and MasterCard and checks drawn by a United States bank, in United States dollars. The registrant MUST pay all fees or charges connected with registration at the time of registration. Credit cards will be charged immediately. Checks MUST be made payable to Heart Rhythm Society.
- Registration Forms will not be processed without full payment to the Heart Rhythm Society.
- Purchase orders are not accepted.
- Wire/bank transfers are not accepted.
- CDS and the Heart Rhythm Society cannot acknowledge receipt of a faxed Registration Form. Please retain your transmittal report until you have received your registration confirmation from CDS.
How do I re-print my confirmation letter?
If you are pre-registered and would like to reprint your confirmation, update your contact information or add ticketed functions, a link will be provided in early 2012 enabling you to enter your badge number and e-mail address to log-in and perform these function.

Who is the Registration Company?
Convention Data Services (CDS) will serve as Heart Rhythm Society's official registration company. Any questions related to registration should be directed to CDS by calling +1 (800) 748-5052 or +1 (508)743-0529 or e-mailing HRS@xpressreg.net.
How do I cancel my meeting registration and get a refund?
In order to receive a refund, written notification of cancellation must be received by CDS, on or before Friday, April 13, 2012. A $75 administrative/processing fee will be withheld. Telephone requests cannot be honored. Fees will not be refunded for no-shows. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, April 13, 2012.
How may I substitute my registration?
Written notification of substitutions must be received by CDS on or before Friday, April 13, 2012. The Heart Rhythm Society reserves the right to collect or retain the balance of registration fees in the event that the substitute's membership category differs from the original registrant.

Hotel Accomodations
Who is the Housing Company?
Travel Planners, Inc. will serve as Heart Rhythm Society's official housing company. Any questions related to housing should be directed to Travel Planners by calling +1 (888)337-2665 or +1 (212) 532-1660 or e-mailing HRS@tphousing.com. Pre-registration is required in order to reserve a room within the Heart Rhythm 2012 housing block.
How do I reserve a hotel room?
You must be registered to reserve a hotel room for Heart Rhythm 2012. After you complete your registration, you will be able to reserve a room.
What is the housing deposit policy?
Travel Planners accepts the following credit cards: American Express, VISA and MasterCard and checks drawn by a United States bank, in United States dollars. Credit cards will be charged around April 6, 2012. Checks must be made payable to Travel Planners and must accompany housing request. Please do not include your registration payment with you hotel deposit. Checks should be mailed directly to Travel Planners.
- Hotel reservations will not be processed without credit card deposits.
- One night's room and tax are required for the room deposit.
- Purchase orders are not accepted.
- Wire/bank transfers are not accepted.
- Travel Planners and the Heart Rhythm Society cannot acknowledge receipt of a faxed form. Please retain your transmittal report until you have received your hotel/housing confirmation from Travel Planners, Inc.
