Core Concepts in EP | Heart Rhythm Society

Core Concepts in EP

This course has evolved from the Society's highly regarded Board Review Course and is now designed to better serve a wider audience within the EP community. Core Concepts is no longer intended solely for U.S. physicians preparing to certify or recertify. While Core Concepts with Board Prep will remain an indispensable tool for preparing for the CCEP Exam, Core Concepts will provide a fundamentally sound EP knowledge base to any who study and practice in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

Core Concepts in EP

Core Concepts in EP is now on demand with recorded lectures and workshops. It offers six modules covering basic science, clinical scenarios, and special lectures, along with ten case-based workshops. The 2023 update includes interactive knowledge checks, more workshop cases, and a new user interface. Sections are available for fellows and fellows-in-training, but board prep is not included.

Core Concepts in EP and Board Prep

Core Concepts in EP and Board Prep is also entirely on demand and includes the same lectures, workshops, and 2023 updates. Sections are available for fellows and fellows-in-training, and include strategies for success, and a 100-question self-assessment exam with board-style and case-based questions created by over 40 field experts. The 2024 updates to the course and exam will be released in May at Heart Rhythm 2024.
