The Heart Rhythm Society maintains a strong voice in Washington, DC; its advocacy efforts focus on issues of critical importance to the heart rhythm specialist, scientist and allied health personnel.
The Society sets standards for heart rhythm care and ensures appropriate reimbursement for electrophysiology services. The Society also authors and/or endorses scientific and clinical documents that provide three main components vital to advancements in the field: analysis, discussion of current issues, and suggestions for clinical application.
Now Available-Cardiac Electrophysiology Accreditation
The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is pleased to announce the launch of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Accreditation program. HRS, in partnership with the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), the Pediatric & Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES), and the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals (SICP) worked with electrophysiologists and other experts in the field to provide a method by which facilities performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures can document their commitment to quality.
