Frank is a true mentor with passion for education and moving our field forward. Lessons learned from him continue to shape my career and approach to academic electrophysiology. His leadership and vision are an example for all of us to aspire to. Thank you Frank.
Frank has been an invaluable mentor. His insight, insatiable quest for understanding of electrophysiology, compassion, and loyalty continue to inspire me and countless others.
Frank's passion for getting the job done no matter what it takes and relentlessly moving the field forward, sets the standard we all try to live up to.
Dr. Marchlinski represents all that is good in academic medicine and has built an electrophysiology program that I am both proud and humbled to be part of.
Frank may be fundamentally one of the greatest mentors in electrophysiology. This is demonstrated by the legacy of academicians who have trained under him and continue to have an impact in this field. His efforts to mentor future leaders in EP will have an impact for generations in the field and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to call him a mentor and a role model.
As a mentor, Frank Marchlinski truly shared his passion for electrophysiology not only via formal conferences, but also by allowing fellows-in-training to perform painstaking mapping procedures for complex arrhythmia cases referred for ablation. These hands-on experiences have given his graduates tremendous confidence in their post graduate careers. I remain grateful for the opportunities and expertise Frank provided.
Frank's vision and leadership have impacted so many careers. I will be always grateful for the role he has played in my personal and professional development. There is a steadily growing group of early and mid-career Canadian electrophysiologists who all look fondly back at the UPenn fellowship and are proud to be associated with the program that Frank leads. Thank you, Frank!
Frank has been a tremendous inspiration and an enthusiastic mentor. His observational skills, critical thinking and approach to patient care remain as goals to achieve!
Frank's dedication to the field of Electrophysiology in both research and clinical practice has had a significant impact on many lives including patients, fellows and colleagues. His constant drive to move the field forward and challenge trainees is admired by many. We are grateful to have trained with him.
All our Best, Drs. Melissa & Ward Pulliam
Frank, Thanks for all you do for our patients and for all you have done for my career! It was an honor to be your fellow. Reggie
For me it was a unique opportunity and honor to spend more than a year as a clinical research fellow at the U-Penn EP labs working under the leadership of Francis Marchlinski. His immense knowledge as well as his professional attitude fundamentally influenced my academic career in cardiac electrophysiology and greatly contributed to my personal professional development for my life. His exemplary conduct as a great person both in relation with colleagues and patients as well as a leader made an everlasting impact on me . He has been a major inspiration for me to transfer and implement his manner of thinking in EP in Europe and more particularly in Hungary. It is in that spirit that I have been trying to instruct and inspire my own colleagues.
