  • Recognize the clinical consequences of AF and the recent guideline recommended treatment strategies to minimize mortality, morbidity, and stroke risk.
  • Define the challenges and benefits associated with rate or rhythm control strategies in patients with AF and the therapeutic options for each strategy
  • Discuss how the recent ACC/AHA/HRS and ESC guidelines for AF management can be used to develop indivdualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes
