David E. Haines, MD, FHRS

Dr. Haines is Director of the Heart Rhythm Center and Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Beaumont Health System and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  He received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and completed residency, CVD fellowship and CCEP fellowship at the University of Vermont and University of Virginia. He has served on several Heart Rhythm Society committees, and has been the HRS liaison for other organizations including the Multispecialty Occupational Health Group and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission where he was the founding president of the IAC EP. He has served as a member of the ABIM CCEP Test Writing Committee and is presently chair.
