How To Apply For Membership

Membership is open to physicians, scientists, nurses, technicians and other allied professionals whose careers demonstrate a commitment to EP and/or pacing.

Please note: Individuals who are chiefly responsible for sales and/or marketing are not eligible for membership in the Society.

Applicants are encouraged to contact our membership service staff at 202-464-9855 or  to confirm receipt of completed application packet. You may also provide payment information by phone in order to ensure payment security.

If you would like to take advantage of registration discounts on Society programs and courses, we recommend submitting your application at least two weeks in advance of the day that you intend to register for the event. All membership applications are processed in the order that they are received.

Once we receive your completed application, please allow 5 business days for us to process your application. We will notify you of your membership status by email after the application has been reviewed.

*Physicians and scientists-in-training may be eligible for complimentary Affiliate membership . Eligible applicants must submit a completed fellowship confirmation form in lieu of dues payment (with membership application and CV).


Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable once membership has been granted. Partial applications that are not completed within 60 days of submission will be closed and assessed a non-refundable, non-transferable, $75 (US) application processing fee.

Failure to pay annual dues fees will result in membership cancellation. Expired members may request membership reinstatement for up to one year after the date of cancellation by calling or emailing the Membership Hotline at 202-464-9855 or . Reinstatement will result in a new membership term and join date; memberships may not be reinstated retroactively from the date of cancellation. After one year, former members must submit a new application for membership.

Members are expected to adhere to the Heart Rhythm Society Code of Ethics and Professional Standards for Members . Failure to do so may result in membership suspension.

Members may elect to pay for up to two years of membership at one time by submitting a written request to 240-241-5476 (Fax) or .
