Kristen B. Campbell, PharmD

Kristen Bova Campbell is a Clinical Pharmacist at Duke University Medical Center with over 20 years of clinical experience in cardiology, the majority of that time being in electrophysiology. She earned a Bachelor’s at the University of Virginia (1998) and a Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy (2002). Dr. Campbell completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina Medical Center (2002 – 2004). Dr. Campbell is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

Dr. Campbell is the first PharmD to be appointed to the HRS Board of Trustees. She has served on various HRS committees including as chair of the Patient and Caregivers Committee as well as member of the Allied Professional Council and Scientific Sessions Program committee. She has consistently participated as a faculty member for HRS Scientific Sessions in addition to other medical professional societies’ scientific sessions.

Dr. Campbell established the Clinical Pharmacist role within the Electrophysiology division at Duke and works in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner and manages both the Antiarrhythmic Medication Monitoring and Anticoagulation clinics. She is also the program director of the PGY2 Cardiology Specialty pharmacy residency.
