Mina K. Chung, MD, is a Staff Cardiologist and Professor of Medicine in the Section of Pacing and Electrophysiology, The Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, and a member of the Department of Heart, Blood & Kidney Research, Cleveland Clinic Research, at Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Chung is board-certified in internal medicine and in the subspecialties of cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, which is her specialty interest.

Dr. Chung received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Jewish Hospital of the Washington University School of Medicine, becoming Chief Resident, and then her clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Barnes Hospital. Dr. Chung has been named on Best Doctors lists since 2021. At HRS she has served as President from 2025-2026 and in multiple committee roles including the chair of the Scientific and Clinical Documents Committee and the Finance Committee as past Secretary-Treasurer and on the Executive Committee. She is currently Co-Chair of Heart Rhythm Advocates and Chair of the Governance Committee.
