Program Description
The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is pleased to offer the Coaching and Leadership Instruction for the Mid-career’s Benefit (CLIMB).
The Heart Rhythm Society is the leading membership society and the voice for the electrophysiology ecosystem. HRS boasts more than 9,000 heart rhythm care professionals in more than 90 countries.
Developed by HRS, CLIMB builds on the success of its established leadership programs—GLOBE, GLOWE, and LEAP—by addressing the distinct needs of mid-career electrophysiologists. Designed for professionals navigating the pivotal middle stage of their careers, CLIMB delivers a powerful blend of in-person experiences, self-paced online learning, interactive workshops, and peer mentorship.
CLIMB is designed to empower mid-career electrophysiologists with the advanced leadership and management skills needed to thrive in today’s complex healthcare landscape. Whether aiming to become a Chief Medical Officer, lead a department, or rise within industry, participants will gain the strategic tools and confidence to take their careers to the next level. The program directly addresses the unique challenges of mid-career professionals—combatting burnout, overcoming stagnation, and bridging the gap in executive representation—while positioning physicians to become influential voices in healthcare innovation, strategy, and policy.
CLIMB is ideal for a cohort of 30–35 electrophysiologists who are 6 to 20 years post-fellowship and ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. The program is designed for those aiming to advance into senior roles within healthcare systems, industry, or academic institutions. Participants will gain essential strategic, operational, and business skills while becoming part of a supportive community of peers equally dedicated to shaping the future of electrophysiology through innovation, collaboration, and leadership.
The 2026-2027 CLIMB program will be led by Chair Jose A. Joglar, MD, FHRS.
