HRS strives to facilitate the participation of early-career electrophysiologists and fellow heart rhythm professionals in the activities of the global EP community, particularly the Society's annual meeting. To this end, HRS developed HRS Travel Scholarships to:
- Introduce healthcare professionals who have expressed an interest in electrophysiology to the multiple facets of the electrophysiology specialty
- Promote and sustain collaborative relationships between early-career and experienced electrophysiology professionals
- Provide opportunities for the mentoring of clinicians, scientists, and healthcare professionals early in their training
HRS is proud to have awarded over $500,000 to 350 scholarship recipients since 2021.

The Heart Rhythm Society and American Heart Association invite you to share your bold research ideas to advance AFib care. Submit your concept using AHA’s Get With The Guidelines®–AFIB Registry for a chance to pitch it live in Chicago in front of a panel of HRS and AHA “sharks.” The top three highest-scoring submissions will receive complimentary in-person registration.
