Heart Rhythm Travel Scholarships

The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) encourages and supports the efforts of early career electrophysiologists and other heart rhythm professionals to participate in the Society’s activities. To that end, the Heart Rhythm Travel Scholarships support participation in the Annual Scientific Sessions with a complimentary registration to Heart Rhythm, up to $1,500 in reimbursement of travel costs paid after the Annual Scientific Sessions, and award presentation at the Heart Rhythm Society VIP Reception.

Registration for the Scholarship Now Closed for 2019

The Heart Rhythm Society's Heart Rhythm 2019 Travel Scholarship supports the efforts of residents, fellows-in-training, post-doctoral researchers, and allied health professionals focused on heart rhythm disorders to attend the Annual Scientific Sessions. The number of travel scholarships to be awarded is contingent upon the level of funding achieved through individual donations and the abstract submission fees. All travel scholarship funds are derived from non-commercial sources.

Heart Rhythm 2019 Travel Scholarship award winners receive reimbursement for up to $1,500 of the travel expenses and complimentary registration to Heart Rhythm 2019.

Each application will be timestamped as it is submitted. Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying individuals on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarships are available for third-year residents, Cardiology fellows, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellows, and Post-doctoral Researchers interested in pursuing electrophysiology research, either in academic settings or private practice. Allied Professional applicants must be licensed RNs, PAs, NPs, or technicians employed in an accredited institution or established cardiac electrophysiology program/practice.
