July 1, 2024 – On June 28, 2024, CMS announced the opening of its 2023 MIPS Final Score Preview period, during which clinicians will have the opportunity to preview their 2023 MIPS final score prior to the release of payment adjustment information.

As a reminder, 2023 final scores will determine 2025 MIPS payment adjustments. The Final Score Preview period helps CMS to ensure that it identifies any potential issues with performance scores before it calculates payment adjustments.
