CMS Announces 2025 MIPS Payment Adjustments and Opening of Targeted Review Period

September 10, 2024 – CMS recently released Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) payment adjustment information for the 2025 payment year based on 2023 performance scores.

The release of MIPS payment adjustment factors follows CMS’ recent release of 2023 performance feedback and final scores. Clinicians who believe there is an error in the calculation of their MIPS Payment adjustment can request a targeted review now until October 11, 2024.
