Tim Gregory serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), where he provides executive leadership across the organization and works closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, volunteer leadership, and senior staff to advance the Society’s strategic priorities. In this role, he helps guide organizational strategy, oversee operations and major initiatives, and ensure alignment across HRS’s programs, partnerships, and global activities.

Tim recently served as Interim Chief Executive Officer, leading the organization through a period of leadership transition while maintaining momentum across key initiatives and supporting the Society’s mission to improve care for patients with heart rhythm disorders.

With more than 18 years at HRS, Tim brings deep institutional knowledge and a steady, collaborative leadership approach. His portfolio spans global strategy, education and meetings, scientific journals, clinical and scientific documents, professional development programs, strategic partnerships, and international engagement.

Tim has over 30 years of professional experience in organizational leadership, education development, project and budget management, and large-scale program strategy. Prior to joining HRS in 2007, he held leadership positions at The Catholic University of America, Brailsford & Dunlavey, California State University (Dominguez Hills and Northridge), and the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota–Morris and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology/College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University.
