Tim Gregory is HRS’s Chief Learning Officer and is a member of the executive leadership’s Strategic Advisory Group. As Chief Learning Officer, he oversees the Education and Meetings departments and guides the implementation of the Society’s education strategic plan and the delivery of the Society’s annual Scientific Sessions. His primary focus is to foster a durable education program driven by HRS's goals and sustained by the organizational culture and active involvement with HRS membership.
Most recently, Tim was Senior Vice President of Education where he provided direction and oversight for the Society’s education activities, to include the Scientific Sessions, CME and non-CME courses, and program initiatives. The Society’s adherence to ACCME policies and standards for continuing medical education accreditation was a key aspect of his oversight. Throughout his ten years at HRS, he has served in numerous roles in the Education and Meetings departments contributing to the dynamic refinement of the operation and delivery of service. Tim’s focus on volunteer collaboration and relationships have enhanced the Society's outreach and strengthened the organization.
Tim has over 20 years of broad-based experience in education development, management of large-scale projects and organizations, meeting & convention planning, budget development and oversight, and has fostered continuous culture improvement through staff recruiting, hiring, and training. Prior to joining HRS in 2007, he held leadership positions at The Catholic University of America, Brailsford & Dunlavey (a facility planning consulting firm), and at the California State University Northridge and Dominguez Hills campuses. He holds a BA in political science from University of Minnesota-Morris and MEd in counseling psychology/college student personnel administration from James Madison University.
