Highest Scoring Abstract for Women in EP
This award recognizes the highest scoring abstracts submitted by a female investigator or highest scoring abstracts on the topic of gender-specific arrhythmias.
Abstracts must conform to the published abstract rules and procedures and be received by the published deadline in order for abstract First Authors to be considered for this award. First Authors from Industry will be excluded.
The Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Program Chair and Abstract Chair will select the award winner in consultation with the Program Committee as needed. The Scientific Program Chair will direct the award selection process. Award selection will be based on both relative abstract scores, award criteria and relative subject matter.
First Authors are not required to be a member of the Heart Rhythm Society
Award winners receive:
- Complimentary Annual Scientific Sessions registration
- Presentation of award at the Women in EP Networking Luncheon
- $1,000 travel stipend
