The document focuses on the practical aspects of using telemedicine for management of patients with arrhythmias and/or receiving treatment with potentially arrhythmogenic pharmacotherapies directed to COVID-19. It addresses novel applications of wireless and wearable technologies in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and the role of telehealth as a mode of outpatient care. The implications for post-pandemic electrophysiology practice are discussed, specifically how digital health may facilitate and play an increasing role in the care of patients with arrhythmias in everyday practice.
